Of all the Marvel shows coming to Disney+, I think it’s safe to say that Moon Knight is the most heavily anticipated. The show, which stars Oscar Isaac as Marc Spector, aka Moon Knight, is set for release sometime this year, but we’ll likely be getting a release date in the next twenty-four hours, with Disney+ revealing on Twitter that the first trailer would be premiering Monday during the NFL Super Wild Card matchup on ESPN, which starts at 8:15pm ET tomorrow.

The tiny tease also gave us our first glimpse of the Moon Knight costume, along with a look at Ethan Hawke as the show’s villain, although it hasn’t been revealed who he’s playing yet. In interviews, Hawke said he was basing his character on infamous cult leader David Koresh.
Part of the reason fans are so psyched for Moon Knight is the fact that it marks Oscar Isaac’s first big action role after years of establishing himself as one of the most exciting actors in the business. One of the fans’ biggest sticking points about the new Star Wars trilogy was how minor his character, Poe Dameron, ended up being. It looks like Isaac has gone all out with his training for the role, although some were taken aback by the English accent he’s adopted for the part. No matter, Isaac is the real deal and Moon Knight, which counts Mohamed Diab (Cairo 678) and noted filmmaking duo Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead as directors is sure to be an event.
Keep your eyes out for the trailer tomorrow night!
