Christina Ricci has signed on to star in Monstrous, a new supernatural thriller from I Know Who Killed Me (watch it HERE) director Chris Sivertson. Ricci takes on the role of
a traumatized woman fleeing from her abusive ex-husband with her 7-year-old son. In their new, remote sanctuary they find they have a bigger, more terrifying monster to deal with.
Monstrous was written by Carol Chrest. Ricci is being joined in the cast by Colleen Camp.
Film Mode Entertainment is currently presenting the project to potential international distributors at the European Film Market. Screen Media has already picked up the rights to the film outside North America, the U.K., Japan, and the Middle East, while High Octane has acquired the rights in the Middle East, North Africa, and Japan.

Monstrous is produced by Robert Yocum, Sasha Yelaun, B.I. Rosen, and Johnny Remo, while Sivertson serves as executive producer alongside Adam Goldworm, Omer Paracha, Sean Reilly, Clay Epstein, Craig Albrecht, Carol Anne Watts, Adam Sigal, Galen Christy, and Mark Silba.
