Monsters: Dark Continent trailer goes to war starring Sam Keeley

And just like that, with the recent announcement of an April 17th VOD release is an all-new official trailer for Tom Green’s MONSTERS: DARK CONTINENT, the sequel to Gareth Edwards’ indie creature feature. A sequel to a microbudget monster movie that was made 5 years ago seems so unnecessary, yet here we are with DARK CONTINENT. The thing is, Green's sequel looks epic and haunting; the trailer alone delivers more monsters than Edwards' entire film, which speaks to how different in tone this one will be. Ten years on from the events of Monsters, and the Infected Zones have spread worldwide. Two soldiers embark on a life-altering mission through the dark heart of monster territory in the deserts of the Middle East. By the time they reach their goal, they will have been forced to confront the fear that the true monsters on the planet may not be alien after all.
