Mission: Impossible 7: Cary Elwes, Rob Delaney join cast

What's that? Do you want more casting news for Mission: Impossible 7? As you wish.

Word has come down the wire that Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride, Saw), Rob Delaney (Deadpool 2, Bombshell), Indira Varma (Rome, Crisis), Mark Gatiss (Sherlock, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy), and Tarzan Davis (Good TroubleTop Gun: Maverick) have joined Mission: Impossible 7. They join new castmembers Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, and Esai Morales as well as Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, and Vanessa Kirby. There's also some guy named Tom Cruise starring in the movie, but I've never heard of him, so whatever.

Director of the sequel, Christopher McQuarrie, confirmed the casting announcements by posting a series of new images to his official Instagram account:

Understandably, the pandemic knocked everything off-course, and production for the eighth film is now slated for 2022. No plot details for Mission: Impossible 7 are available at this time. For now, the film is set to open in theaters on November 19, 2021.
