Mischa Barton has remained surprisingly employed since her departure from the now defunct drama “The OC”. Sure, it hasn’t been in a lot of high profile flicks – an absurd period piece with Hayden Christensen titled VIRGIN TERRITORY, Richard Attenborough’s romantic drama CLOSING THE RING, an indie drama titled DON’T FADE AWAY and an “Alice in Wonderland” re-imagining titled MALICE IN SUNDERLAND – but work’s work and she seems to have a steady flow of it. She’s most recently signed on to the comedy ST. TRINIAN’S, in which she’ll star alongside a group of girls at an uppity boarding school who, of course, become involved in all kinds of wacky shenanigans. Rupert Everett, Colin Firth and Lena Headey co-star with shooting having started in March. Oliver Parker and Barnaby Thompson are co-directing the hijinks-filled hilarity.
