Doctor Sleep & Gerald’s Game director planning new Stephen King adaptation

HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE & GERALD'S GAME director Mike Flanagan's adaptation of DOCTOR SLEEP – Stephen King's sequel to THE SHINING – hits next month. And today Flanagan teased that he's having "robust conversations" with the master of horror about what book he could adapt next.

Flanagan reveals:

I’ve been talking with Stephen King about what we can do next. And being the fan that I am of his, there are so many of his books that I would love a chance to adapt. So it’s been about ‘Which one do you want to do next?’ We’re having robust conversations about what that could be. We have a plan and we’ll see.

While there's no word on just what these new projects might end up being, at least we all know by this point in time that Flanagan of all people knows how to adapt a King tale for the screen. That said, which book do you HOPE Flanagan and King are working on next? Let us know below!

It has the following synopsis:

Still irrevocably scarred by the trauma he endured as a child at the Overlook, Dan Torrance has fought to find some semblance of peace. The much-anticipated flick also stars Kyleigh Curran as Abra Stone, Carl Lumbly as Dick Halloran, Alex Essoe as Wendy Torrance, Bruce Greenwood as Danny's friend Dr. John Dalton, Rebecca Ferguson as cult leader Rose the Hat, Zahn McClarnon as her right-hand man Crow Daddy, and Jocelin Donahue in an unspecified role.
