With just nine days to go until the Wolf Creek mini-series hits the Australian steaming service Stan on May 12th, it seems like an appropriate time to share a couple more promos for the show.
"Mick's Back" is a fitting title for the first promo, which shows serial killer Mick Taylor (John Jarratt reprising his role from the films WOLF CREEK and WOLF CREEK 2) back to his old tricks of terrorizing tourists.
The second promo introduces us to a new character, Detective Sullivan Hill, who will be doing his best to bring Mick to justice this time around.
Set to run for six episodes, the Wolf Creek mini-series
is a psychological thriller set in the world that fans of the films will recognize – but this time things are different. At first the pattern is familiar: Mick Taylor targets an American tourist family to terrorise and destroy. But the tables are turned when 19-year-old Eve survives the massacre and starts to rebuild her shattered existence by embarking on a mission of revenge.
Jarratt is joined in the cast by Lucy Fry, Dustin Clare, Deborah Mailman, Miranda Tapsell, Jessica Tovey, Jake Ryan, and Richard Cawthorne.
The episodes were written by Peter Gawler and Felicity Packard, with Tony Tilse and WOLF CREEK creator Greg McLean taking on directing duties.
