In an article about Gal Gadot being in talks for the upcoming Greg Mottola-directed comedy KEEPING UP WITH THE JONESES starring Zach Galifianakis and Jon Hamm, Deadline revealed that production on WONDER WOMAN will start this fall. There aren't any other new details on the project, but we do know Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones director Michelle MacLaren will helm the comic book movie from a script by Jason Fuchs or (if you believe the recent rumor) from one of six scripts being penned by six different writers.
Like Jason Momoa's Aquaman, Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman will be introduced in BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE before getting a solo movie, and last year we learned Wonder Woman will have a fair amount of screen time in the Zack Snyder film. I'm still not too high on Gadot as Princess Diana and I think there are better options out there. But what's done is done, and I'm willing to give the actress the chance to prove herself.
BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE opens on March 25, 2016, and WONDER WOMAN will be released on June 23, 2017.
