The first trailer for DOCTOR STRANGE showcased a myriad of visual set-pieces, along with Benedict doing his Cumberbatching and the promise of a very different kind of Marvel adventure. Given the kitchen sink approach of CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR, I’d say audiences are primed and ready! As if you needed another reason to get pumped, Academy Award-winning composer Michael Giacchino revealed that he will be writing the music for Marvel’s latest!

The Marvel scores have certainly had their fare share of composers pass through, and ups and downs regarding their final products, but I’d argue that we haven’t really gotten an iconic score thus far. Given Giacchino’s work, he’s always able to turn in something reliable and on occasion, something magical. With that said, I’m really looking forward to the mark he’ll leave on the Marvel universe!
DOCTOR STRANGE opens in theaters on November 4, 2016.
