Michael Fassbender suits up in this new image from X-Men: Days of Future Past

During the final scene of X-MEN: FIRST CLASS when Magneto is wearing the purple helmet, I was so ecstatic. Growing up reading the X-MEN during the 90s this was such a major deal for me. Can one actually cry during a moment like this? Cause let me tell you, I was pretty close.

This new photo of Michael Fassbender wearing an actual suit instead of a Fuchsia colored jacked doesn’t get me as ecstatic but I’m still grinning like a moron. We caught a quick glimpse of the entire costume in the first trailer for the film. I’m waiting to see a second trailer because I think they were just trying to cram as much as they could into the first one. If you aren’t familiar with the story of X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST then I could see where you might have a couple of questions. The trailer was basically like, “Everyone’s back! Here’s some cool action sequences! Mood music! Don’t forget the one big feely quote at the end!” There’s definitely more to it than that.
