From the producers of THE KING’S SPEECH comes another feature film adaptation of Shakespeare's Scottish play about General Macbeth whose ambitious wife urges him to use wicked means in order to gain power of the throne over the sitting king. Aside from looking like a damn fine adaptation of Shakespeare's work, MACBETH may also give audiences a taste of what to expect in regards to Fassbender and Kurzel's upcoming ASSASSIN's CREED flick. If anything, Kurzel seems to have a good handle on making everything look like it was naturally lit. It goes without saying that I'd follow Fassbender into any movie. Hail Macbeth!
MACBETH will see a limited theatrical release on December 4, 2015.
