Michael Dougherty hopes to make Trick R Treat 2 after Godzilla sequel

I am always telling everyone to tune into director Mick Garris' podcast POST MORTEM. I'm sure you've even heard me recommend it a time or two on AITH. You should be tuning in because we often get great bits of insight like today's news.

Turns out GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS and KRAMPUS director Micheal Dougherty hopes to make his next film the long-awaited sequel to his Halloween classic TRICK R TREAT.

Michael Dougherty on TRICK R TREAT 2:

My hope is that once Godzilla has been put to rest that I can dive back into [Trick ‘r Treat 2]. I would love to finish writing it in post-production [of Godzilla] and then I’d love to make it my next project.

But we’ll see.
