Hot damn indeed considering Season 6 doesn’t even kick off until October 2nd, nearly a month away. But that’s not stopping Showtime and “Dexter” star Michael C. Hall from talking about the future. According to Variety the talented actor is currently in negotiations for a new contract, which would include “Dexter” Season 7 and possibly beyond with a nice hefty pay increase.
Considering Hall’s current contract expires after this upcoming season he’s been in talks for a new one for months now. Months? Seriously? Showtime should be throwing money at this guy! Whatever Hall is asking for, double it and call it a day. Done.
Apparently the Golden Globe winner and four-time Emmy nominee is looking for a hefty pay increase considering he’s been under the same contract for the past six years. Sure he’s made some extra dough since becoming executive producer on the show but that’s marbles compared to what the man deserves. Here’s hoping he gets it.
Dexter Morgan spent Season Five atoning for the death of his wife, Rita. He committed to being a part of her children’s lives and entered into a deep, passionate relationship with Lumen, unlike anything he’d ever had before.
But Dexter’s need to kill overpowers his desire for human connection. And now that one person knows the truth about him, and a few others are close, how much longer will America’s favorite serial killer be able to keep his dark side a secret?
“Dexter” Season 6 kicks off on Showtime starting October 2nd with returning cast members Michael C. Hall, Jennifer Carpenter, Desmond Harrington, James Remar, David Zayas, C.S. Lee, Lauren Velez and new cast members Jordana Spiro, Edward James Olmos, Colin Hanks, Molly Parker, Brea Grant, Aimee Garcia (below), Mos Def, Josh Cooke, and Billy Brown.
