The first season of The Mandalorian included a rather eclectic group of actors, and it seems that the upcoming second season of the Disney+ series will be no different. Production on the second season wrapped earlier this month, but as the STAR WARS series is developed under extreme secrecy (those virtual sets certainly help a lot), we haven't heard all that much about who will be joining the Mandalorian (Pedro Pascal) and Baby Yoda (himself) on the next stage of their adventure.
According to Making Star Wars, who typically have a good track record with this type of news, Michael Biehn (ALIENS) has joined the cast of The Mandalorian's second season. There's very little information on just who Biehn is playing, but Making Star Wars has heard that he'll be "playing a bounty hunter from The Mando's past." I love it. The outlet also states that Bill Burr, who played the mercenary Mayfield in the first season of the series, will also be back for the second season. As far as other major casting news for The Mandalorian goes, it was revealed just last week that Rosario Dawson (Daredevil) would be joining the series, with all signs pointing to the actress playing Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker's former Jedi Padawan who first appeared in Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
The Mandalorian creator/writer Jon Favreau has previously announced that the second season will be hitting Disney+ in Fall 2020, but given the craziness which the world is currently experiencing, who knows for sure exactly when the series will land.
