Deadline is reporting that fourteen-year-old actor Michael Barbieri (LITTLE MEN) is in talks to join Idris Elba, Matthew McConaughey and Tom Taylor in Nikolaj Arcel's THE DARK TOWER. If Barbieri does officially sign on (and it looks like he will), he'll be playing Timmy, the best friend of Taylor's Jake Chambers. The fim will also feature the talents of Katheryn Winnick (in a currently undisclosed role), Jackie Earle Haley as Sayre, and Fran Kranz as Pimli.
Filming is underway for the adaptation of Stephen King's fantasy novel series, and several photos from the production have landed online, including a first look at the movie's logo and a prosthetic of a demonic nun. What are you thoughts on these first THE DARK TOWER set images?
