Director F. Gary Gray's UNTITLED MEN IN BLACK SPIN-OFF has added three new players to the upcoming feature starring Tessa Thompson (ANNIHILATION, CREED) and Chris Hemsworth (CABIN IN THE WOODS, THOR: RAGNAROK). Now set to appear alongside the Asgardian duo is JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM villain Rafe Spall, as well as the street dancing pair, Laurent Nicolas Bourgeois and Larry Nicolas Bourgeois.
The spinoff based on the alien-busting agency designed to serve and protect out-of-planet visitors is aiming to make the franchise look good again by relaunching the Men in Black agency on a more global scale. On board to pen the project are IRON MAN scribes Matt Holloway and Art Marcum, whose job it will be to make the franchise appeal to moviegoers of all ages and set the venture up for possible sequels.
The UNTITLED MEN IN BLACK SPIN-OFF is also looking to employ members of the original trilogy with Walter F. Parkes and Laurie MacDonald stepping in as producers, once again. The Grand Poobah of science fiction filmmaking, Steven Spielberg, will also be returning as an executive producer.
Most recently, Spall starred as the character Eli Mills for J. A. Bayona's JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM, a back-stabbing murderer hellbent on continuing the Jurassic curse of selling dinosaurs to nefarious organizations. Next, Spall is set to star as Herb in director Adrian Shergold's DENMARK, a bittersweet comedy about one man's pursuit of a dream no more ridiculous than the times we live in.
As for Les Twins, the fleet-footed duo who hail from France became YouTube superstars when their street dancing videos landed them in spotlight of Cirque du Soleil’s Michael Jackson: The Immortal World tour. Much like everyone else cast in the film, no word as to who they will play in the spinoff has been revealed at this time.
Nevertheless, all will be revealed in time, and we'll have the plesure of seeing everyone in action when Gray's UNTITLED MEN IN BLACK SPIN-OFF beams into theaters on June 14, 2019.
