Liam Neeson loves to apply his extensive list of skills to dangerous situations, and now a group of child traffickers is in his crosshairs. Unleashed by Open Road Films, today’s Memory trailer shows what happens when you send the right killer to do the wrong job. I hope you’re ready for another Neeson-powered action romp because the actor’s latest film will mess with your memory before it puts a bullet in your brain.

Directed by Martin Campbell (Casino Royale, Green Lantern), Memory is a remake of the 2003 Belgian thriller The Memory of a Killer. Memory follows Alex Lewis (Liam Neeson), an expert assassin with a reputation for discreet precision. Caught in a moral quagmire, Alex refuses to complete a job that violates his code and must quickly hunt down and kill the people who hired him before they and FBI agent Vincent Serra (Guy Pearce) find him first. Alex is built for revenge but, with a memory that is beginning to falter, he is forced to question his every action, blurring the line between right and wrong.

Memory is written by Dario Scardapane (The Bridge, The Punisher) and also stars Monica Bellucci (Shoot ‘Em Up, The Matrix Revolutions), Taj Atwal (Truth Seekers, Line of Duty), Ray Fearon (Hamlet, The Foreigner), and Harold Torres (Northless, Texas Rising: Capturing the Revolution).

What do you think Neeson’s body count is in this movie? It looks to me like he’s taking out bad guys left and right, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the entire child trafficking syndicate is reduced to giblets before his rampage is over. For someone who said they were done making action movies several years ago, Neeson looks like he’s still ready and willing to create a trail of bodies in his wake on the way to the bank.

What do you think of Open Road Films’ Memory trailer? Are you ready to watch Neeson take down a new group of bad guys for threatening to break his unwritten rules of being a respectable killer? I hope so because Memory hits theaters on April 29, 2022.
