Directed by Mario N. Bonassin (Alien Conquest) from a screenplay by Alex Heerman (Airliner Sky Battle), Megaboa has the following synopsis:

On a trip to Colombia, a group of college students head into the rainforest to look for cave drawings. But a once thought to be extinct fifty-foot boa constrictor is out lurking in brush, hungry for blood.

Eric Roberts (The Dark Knight) is joined in the cast by Joe Herrera (Inheritance), Emilia Torello (Mr. Mercedes), Michelle Elizabeth O’Shea (Destruction Los Angeles), Ray Acevedo (American Sicario), Jadon Cal (Last of the Grads), Sharon Desiree (Triassic Hunt), Michael DeVorzon (Fast and Fierce: Death Race), Garrett Schulte (Waiting on Mary), and Vimala Veera (Hart Strings).

Roberts, who has 651 acting credits on his IMDb page as of this writing, makes an insane number of movies every year, and it’s a delight to see him show up on the screen every single time.

David Michael Latt produced Megaboa, with Paul Bales as co-producer and David Rimawi as executive producer.
