Meet the new Ghostbusters receptionist, Chris Hemsworth as Kevin

Not only is today Alien Day, it also happens to be Administrative Professionals Day, and to mark the occasion Sony has released a vignette video that introduces Kevin, the receptionist character played by Chris Hemsworth in director Paul Feig's reboot of GHOSTBUSTERS.

While giving a further taste of the type of humor the film will be featuring, this video quickly drives home the fact that Kevin is not a bright fellow. At all.

The Ghostbusters Kevin works for are played by Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, Kristen Wiig, and Leslie Jones. What they have to deal with: 

Dead criminals from all eras of New York’s under­belly past have returned to roost among the living in Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters reboot. Pilgrims, old-­timey sailors, Revolutionary War spirits, and even a couple of zoot­-suited gangsters are ready to take on four formidable female busters looking to rid the city of its phantasmic filth.

Also in the cast are Neil Casey, Andy Garcia, Michael K. Williams, Matt Walsh, Pat Kiernan, Cecily Strong, and Charles Dance, with original GHOSTBUSTERS stars Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts, and Sigourney Weaver showing up in cameos. Ozzy Osbourne also makes an appearance.

Feig's GHOSTBUSTERS is set for release on July 15th.
