I cannot lie…I'm actually quite intrigued to see how Fox handles the legend of the Headless Horseman in their upcoming modern-day take on "Sleepy Hollow". While the premise for the show seems kinda iffy, I've dug everything we've seen so far from the upcoming series, and today we have a new TV spot that introduces us to the character of Ichabod Crane, played here by Tom Mison. Check it out below and give us your thoughts on "Sleepy Hollow" below.
In this modern-day twist on Washington Irving’s classic, Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison; Salmon Fishing in the Yemen) is resurrected and pulled two and a half centuries through time to find that the world is on the brink of destruction and he is humanity’s last hope, forcing him to team up with a contemporary police officer (Nicole Beharie; 42, Shame) to unravel a mystery that dates back to the founding fathers.
"Sleepy Hollow" is from K/O Paper Products in association with 20th Century Fox Television. The series is co-created by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Phillip Iscove, and Len Wiseman. The series is executive-produced by Kurtzman, Orci, Wiseman, and Heather Kadin. Wiseman directed the pilot.
“Sleepy Hollow” premieres Monday, September 16th, and along with its regular Monday time slot, repeat episodes air on Friday nights from 9:00-10:00 PM.
