McG Puts T4 Full Throttle

Okay, so despite the lame play on title, brace yourself. CHARLIE’S ANGELS director McG (that’s his full name!?) is in talks to direct TERMINATOR 4. Please put down the pick axes and torches, because he’s only in talks to direct the film and isn’t officially directing it yet. Honestly, I don’t think McG could direct his way out of a paper bag, but I still haven’t seen WE ARE MARSHALL, so I could be very wrong…doubtful though.

But in all seriousness, T4 is the film that I’ve personally been waiting to see since JUDGMENT DAY and T3 almost raped me of my dreams of seeing it happen. So I’m glad someone is taking another stab at THE TERMINATOR franchise. The plot as revealed so far goes a little something like:

After the drastic effects of Terminator 3, the story continues as John Connor and soon to be wife Kate Brewster realize they must create a resistance organization with Earth’s remaining survivors against the army of robots slowly being built up by Skynet. As they are building this resistance, one survivor happens to be a traitor in disguise, and has a secret that nobody would ever come to suspect

And cue the explosions, laser beams and AWESOME! More about this matter will come soon, but don’t be surprised if McG is our man puppeting the T-800 on the screen. Click here to read the rest of the story.
