STAR WARS: EPISODE VII news will soon be leaving the realm of rumor and conjecture and some solid information will be coming directly from Disney, Bad Robot, and Lucasfilm. When will this news happen? That remains to be seen but some are theorizing that it may be just over a week away.
First up, the source of this news is Kyle Buchanan, reporter for Vulture, who tweeted the following
Star Wars 7 casting announcements will come soon, but I'm told that Disney will hold the title reveal until Comic Con. Worked for Marvel…

With May 4th coming just nine days from now, it would seem an ideal place for a big STAR WARS: EPISODE VII cast reveal. Whether this be in the form of a press release or something else remains to be seen, but with news the canon for the STAR WARS sequels is now set, an announcement has to be pending. May the 4th would be a great day for fans to enjoy but it also seems like the San Diego Comic Con is also a big venue for the film.
With production beginning on STAR WARS: EPISODE VII, ravenous fans with cameras will certainly be trying their best to catch glimpses at the film. No matter what security J.J. Abrams has in place, something is bound to leak so the studio should get in front while they can. Cast news will probably come soon and with the title and possible teaser premiering at SDCC in a few months, we should be in for quite an exciting summer.
STAR WARS: EPISODE VII is slated for release on December 18, 2015.
