Masters of the Universe: Bear McCreary composing score for Kevin Smith show

Masters of the Universe: Revelation showrunner Kevin Smith isn't allowed to share footage from Netflix's upcoming animated series at this time, but he has just shared some footage of himself as he watches some footage. This is how Smith revealed that the music for the show is being provided by composer Bear McCreary. As Smith watches the footage in front of him, the sound of McCreary's music is mixed with pieces of vocal performances from Chris Wood as Prince Adam/He-Man and Stephen Root as Cringer.

McCreary also makes an appearance in the video, enjoying his music as much as Smith does.

A follow-up to the 1980s Masters of the Universe cartoon, Revelation will focus on

the unresolved storylines of the iconic characters, picking up where they left off decades ago.

Wood and Root are joined in the vocal cast by Mark Hamill as Skeletor, Lena Headey as Evil-Lyn, Sarah Michelle Gellar as Teela, Liam Cunningham as Man-At-Arms, Griffin Newman as Orko, Henry Rollins as Tri-Klops, Tony Todd as Scare Glow, Justin Long as Roboto, Jason Mewes as Stinkor, Phil LaMarr as He-Ro, Alicia Silverstone as Queen Marlena, Diedrich Bader as King Randor/Trap Jaw, Tiffany Smith as Andra, Susan Eisenberg as Sorceress, Cree Summer as Priestess, Kevin Michael Richardson as Beast Man, Kevin Conroy as Mer-Man, Harley Quinn Smith as Ileena, and original Skeletor Alan Oppenheimer as Moss Man.

McCreary's credits include The Walking Dead, Freaky, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Child's Play 2019, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Happy Death Day, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Battlestar Galactica, and Wrong Turn 2: Dead End, among many others.
