In Kevin Smith’s Netflix animated series Masters of the Universe: Revelation, Eternia was running low on magic, so villain characters Tri-Klops, Trap Jaw, Whiplash, and Blast-Attak became part of a technology-focused Motherboard cult, where followers were turned into cyborgs. The Motherboard character will play a bigger role in the upcoming sequel series Masters of the Universe: Revolution (it was recently announced that Motherboard will be voiced by Meg Foster, who played Evil-Lyn in the 1987 live-action Masters of the Universe film), and now Mattel has unveiled images and video of a Motherboard action figure! One image of the figure can be seen at the bottom of this article, and more can be found on the Mattel website.
The Motherboard action figure will sell for the price of $65, and will be available for pre-order as of July 21st.
Here’s some information on the figure: Inspired by Masters of the Universe: Revelation, Motherboard is the new threat to Eternia. This Masterverse figure brings the mechanical winged woman bearing the sigil of The Evil Horde to life at 12 inches tall. This “true form” of Motherboard makes a dramatic statement with multi-feathered wings that expand to 24 inches wide. It’s a great gift and a must-have for fans and collectors.

While the notes say the figure was “inspired by Masters of the Universe: Revelation“, it looks like Masters of the Universe: Revolution will be the series named on the figure’s packaging.
Picking up where Masters of the Universe: Revelation left off, Revolution is an all-new story that focuses on the classic He-Man vs. Skeletor rivalry in a way audiences have never seen before. It’s technology up against magic as He-Man and the heroic warriors face the forces of Skeletor and a deadly threat to the Planet in the next epic chapter in the battle for Eternia.
Foster joins a voice cast that includes Chris Wood as He-Man and Prince Adam, Mark Hamill as Skeletor, Melissa Benoist as Teela (replacing Sarah Michelle Gellar), Lena Headey as Evil-Lyn, and William Shatner in an unspecified role.
