Marvel Studios Unleashes New Captain Marvel Poster

Marvel Studios has unleased a brand new Captain Marvel poster ahead of the second trailer, which is set to premiere tomorrow night, December 3rd, during ESPN's Monday Night Football game between the Washington Redskins and the Philadelphia Eagles. Deadline reports that the trailer will drop at halftime, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled during the big commercial break.

Unsurprisingly, Brie Larson looks like a total boss in this new poster, glowing with power, fists curled with rage. It appears that the background is hinting at Captain Marvel's being torn between her life on earth and her place in the skies in Starforce with the Kree military, but we'll get a better idea of her storyline once the highly anticipated trailer drops tomorrow. Check out the poster below for yourself!

CAPTAIN MARVEL brings us back in time to the 1990s before all of the events we have seen in the MCU. The movie is an all-new adventure that follows the journey of Carol Danvers (Larson) as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes. While a galactic war between two alien races reaches Earth, Danvers finds herself and a small cadre of allies at the center of the maelstrom.

The film stars both new and familiar faces in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Rune Temte, Algenis Perez Soto, Mckenna Grace, with Annette Bening, with Clark Gregg, and Jude Law.

CAPTAIN MARVEL is produced by Kevin Feige and directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Jonathan Schwartz, Patricia Whitcher and Stan Lee are the executive producers. The story is by Nicole Perlman and Joe Shrapnel & Anna Waterhouse, and the screenplay is by Anna Boden & Ryan Fleck and Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Jac Schaeffer.

CAPTAIN MARVEL soars into theaters March 8th, 2019. We'll be there to catch this one on the big screen, will you?
