Marvel’s first Netflix series DAREDEVIL has been in production for a while now and all we have seen have been set photos but no looks at the superhero’s suit or the main actors in action. But, that is going to change soon as Marvel and Netflix will be unveiling their full cast at the New York Comic Con next Saturday.
In addition to this news, we also have the first look at the title logo for the series as you can see at the top of this story. It keeps with the modernized style we have seen for every Marvel Cinematic Universe production but this logo also keeps a handwritten charm to it. The NYCC will be the first time the full cast including Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), and Vincent D’Onofrio (Wilson Fisk) will meet with fans. The special takeaway will be a concept poster for DAREDEVIL drawn by Marvel CCO Joe Quesada.
Here is the official synopsis for DAREDEVIL.
“Marvel’s Daredevil” follows the journey of Matt Murdock, who was blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, now fighting against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the super hero Daredevil in modern day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City.
While ABC’s AGENT CARTER and AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. are developing a different direction for Marvel characters from the big screen, DAREDEVIL will represent the first true superhero property since the inception of the MCU. Casting has been lauded with each announcement, including Rosario Dawson who does not appear to be scheduled for the NYCC panel. Hopefully there will be some footage to share as well.
DAREDEVIL will debut on Netflix in May 2015.
