To the excitement of many, a new trailer for AVENGERS: ENDGAME dropped this morning, along with a star-studded poster packed with most of the surviving heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, fans quickly took issue with one glaring omission on the poster as Danai Gurira was the only cast-member featured in the poster not to be credited on top with her co-stars. Typically, this sort of decision comes down to contractual negotiations, which explains why some actors get top billing and others don't, but the backlash was enough for Marvel Studios to release a new version of the poster which included Danai Gurira's name up top with the rest.
"She should have been up there all this time," Marvel Studios said in a tweet. And with that, the world is once again at peace. The much-anticipated AVENGERS: ENDGAME will follow the grave course of events set in motion by Thanos (Josh Brolin) in AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR which wiped out half the universe and fractured the ranks of the Avengers. The remaining heroes will take one final stand in what is said to be Marvel's grand conclusion to the past decade of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I can't wait.
AVENGERS: ENDGAME will hit theaters on April 26, 2019.
