Marvel debuts NYCC posters for Jessica Jones, Runaways & more!

For the past few years, Marvel Television has made certain that they leave a lasting impression on fans who attend both the San Diego and New York City Comic-Con events. Be it through special events, pop-up installations or secret screenings, the major comic book company simply loves to generate positive word-of-mouth for their upcoming projects as a highlight of both the massive entertainment events.

Earlier today, IGN debuted several insanely cool-looking posters belonging to ABC's AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D., Netflix's JESSICA JONES, Hulu's RUNAWAYS and Freeform's CLOAK AND DAGGER. The four posters will be distributed exclusively at New York Comic Con. In order to get your grabby hands on one of these fine pieces of promotional material, you'll have to check out the Marvel signing schedule for NYCC. Please understand that signings are ticketed events and passes will be available on a first-come, first-served lottery basis beginning at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 7th and Sunday, October 8th at the Marvel Booth (#1354). It's also worth noting that, if you win, you'll want to arrive SUPER early, as these events tend to devolve into pure chaos.

Here's a quick rundown of other Marvel signing events happening at NYCC throughout the weekend. Be sure to attend the one that corresponds with the poster you want most (if available). MARVEL'S THE PUNISHER signing event is Saturday, October 7th at 11 a.m. at the Marvel Booth (#1354). MARVEL'S RUNAWAYS' signing event is also October 7th, but at 12:30 p.m. at the Marvel Booth. To snag yourself a MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. poster, make a b-line to their signing event Saturday at 5:00 p.m. at the Marvel Booth. Then make a return trip back around Sunday, October 8th for The Gifted signing event at 10:30 a.m. at the Marvel Booth.

Furthermore, MARVEL'S RUNAWAYS will make its Hulu debut in November, while MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. will begin airing on ABC after MARVEL'S INHUMANS finalizes its eight-episode run. In regard to JESSICA JONES and CLOAK AND DAGGER, the posters confirm that both will debut in 2018 on Netflix and Freeform, respectively.

Personally, I find myself getting excited for JESSICA JONES Season 2 and RUNAWAYS the most. For my money, JESSICA JONES is one of the best Marvel/Netflix presentations to date. As for RUNAWAYS, I've been a fan of the comic book series for years and can't wait to see those characters represented in a live-action format. I'm hoping for good things, though I'll be appraoching that one with a bit of trepidation for sure.
