Martin McDonagh is at it again, folks, and he's once again bringing Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson along for the wild ride.

It's been revealed that McDonagh's next film, which has yet to receive a title, has just had its rights purchased by Searchlight Pictures. The project will see Farrell and Gleeson reuniting after starring together in the director-writer's 2008 crime-comedy IN BRUGES. According to Deadline – who broke the news about both actors joining the cast of McDonagh's next feature-length effort on Tuesday – the untitled film is set on a remote Irish isle, and they will play two lifelong friends who find themselves at an impasse when one abruptly ends their relationship with alarming consequences for both of them. The project, which has set a budget of $20 million for the movie's production, will start filming this summer.

If you've yet to see IN BRUGES, please allow me to share the film's setup with you now. Directed and written by McDonagh, IN BRUGES stars Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson, and Ralph Fiennes, among others. Guilt-stricken after a job gone wrong, hitman Ray (Farrell) and his partner (Gleeson) await orders from their ruthless boss (Fiennes) in Bruges, Belgium, the last place in the world Ray wants to be. As the dark and hilarious events play out, IN BRUGES tells the often hilarious tale of a sucidal killer who has a hell of a time trying to die.

We'll be sure to bring you more details related to McDonagh's next film as they become available. In the meantime, IN BRUGES as well as McDonagh's other Oscar-winning hit, THREE BILLBOARDS OUTSIDE EBBING, MISSOURI, are availble to watch wherever films are sold.
