THE LAZARUS EFFECT follows a group of medical students who discover a way to bring dead patients back to life. You may have noticed that we received the first images and plot synopsis of THE LAZARUS EFFECT a few days back and now the first trailer is here to help paint a picture of what this film has to offer.
This trailer definitely comes off as a FLATLINERS meets EVENT HORIZON kind of tale and while the actions in the trailer seem pretty rushed, the filmmakers were smart enough to populate their film with a charismatic cast. Mark Duplass has been working his way though great indie films and FXX's The League as of late, while Evan Peters won audiences over as Quicksilver in Bryan Singer's X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. If there's anything that's going to hook audiences with this one, it'll definitely be the actors involved.
THE LAZARUS EFFECT, starring Mark Duplass, Olivia Wilde, Donald Glover, Evan Peters and Sarah Bolger, will be released on February 27.
