2007 saw the release of 100 TEARS, a killer clown slasher directed by special effects artist Marcus Koch, who also provided the film's gore. Written by producer and star Joe Davison, the film had the following synopsis:

After being accused of crimes he did not commit, a lonely circus clown known onstage as Gurdy (Jack Amos) exacts his revenge on those who unjustly condemned him. The act sparks something inside of him which he cannot stop and now, years later, his inner-demons have truly surfaced. Part urban legend, part tabloid sensationalism… he is now an unstoppable murderous juggernaut, fueled only by hate.

With a simple blood-spattered image proclaiming that "Gurdy's Back", it has been announced on the 100 TEARS Facebook page that a sequel is now in the works, just in time for the first film's tenth anniversary.

More details will be revealed on October 1st, but Koch has confirmed to Tom Holland's Terror Time that a script for a 100 TEARS sequel has been completed and Jack Amos will be reprising the role of Gurdy. The follow-up will be "more of an action gore film", and the filmmakers hope to be in production by January. As for who will be behind the camera, Koch said:

I’m stepping down as director and letting my partner Joe Davison direct. This way I can focus more on the gore FX.”

Sounds good to me, and I look forward to watching Gurdy, Davison, and Koch splash more blood across the screen. We'll keep you updated on 100 TEARS 2 as it continues moving forward.
