Malcolm McDowell greets his victims in clip from Rob Zombie’s 31

Rob Zombie's latest directorial effort, 31, is set to receive an On Demand release from Saban Films on September 16th, with a theatrical release to follow on October 21st. Before either of these dates, however, Fathom Events will be hosting a special one-night only sneak preview screening of the film in select theatres across the United States on Thursday, September 1st.

The event will consist of:

The exclusive premiere of Rob Zombie’s new horror film, 31, PLUS the world premieres of the “Gore Whore” and “Get Your Boots On” music videos, a one-on-one Q&A with Rob Zombie, and a special look behind the scenes!

The list of participating theatres can be found on the Fathom Events website, through which you can also purchase your tickets.

Along with announcing the event on his social media accounts, Zombie also shared a clip from the film that features Malcolm McDowell chewing the scenery as his character Father Murder addresses the unlucky bunch who are put through the following scenario:

Five carnival workers are kidnapped the night before Halloween and held hostage in a large secret compound known as Murder World. Once there, they have 12 hours to survive a terrifying game called 31 in which “The Heads” – murderous maniacs dressed as clowns – are released to hunt them down and kill them.

31 stars, in addition to McDowell, Sheri Moon Zombie, Richard Brake, Lew Temple, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Pancho Moler, Meg Foster, Judy Geeson, Jane Carr, Ginger Lynn, Daniel Roebuck, Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs, Tracy Walter, E.G. Daily, Torsten Voges, David Ury, Bari Suzuki, Devin Sidell, and Kevin Jackson.
