Maggie Grace to star in ‘Exorcist on a plane’ film Incident on 459

Maggie Grace has gotten Lost, she has been TAKEN, she learned to Fear the Walking Dead, and she even ventured into THE FOG a while back (but we don't talk about that much). Now she has signed on to deal with an aerial possession in SAW VI and VII director Kevin Greutert's new film, INCIDENT ON 459.

Described as "THE EXORCIST on a plane", INCIDENT ON 459 was written by BURIED scribe Chris Sparling. The story begins with

the discovery of a demon-possessed passenger on a transatlantic flight from Boston to London, leaving it up to the rest of the passengers to figure out how to survive before crashing, or being blown up by the Air Force.

Wow, this must be a hell of a possession if the Air Force gets involved.

Grace will be playing Valerie,

a psychologist and single mother with a special needs son, who is on the flight. Her ex-boyfriend is also on the plane, forcing the pair to set their differences aside and figure out how to deal with the demon. Valerie’s values and beliefs are tested to the limit as she must come to terms with the supernatural and that which cannot be explained.

Tungstene Productions' Jean Charles Lévy, Morgan Emmery, and Julian Gross are producing the film with Apple Tree Productions' Vlad Ryashin and Olias Barco. Trinity Media Financing is providing the financing.

INCIDENT ON 459 is set to begin filming in Kiev this September. IMR will be presenting the project to potential distributors at the Cannes Market.

Producer Lévy had this to say about INCIDENT ON 459:

We read Chris’ script and immediately fell for it and we’re incredibly excited to have Kevin and Maggie onboard. We are building a dedicated set in Kiev for this plane which will have all the tools to maximize production value. We want this to feel as real and large as possible, so that when people watch it, they’ll feel they’re on the plane themselves with a growing sense of claustrophobia and terror."

They already have me guaranteed as a viewer, I'm totally on board to watch Maggie Grace battle the forces of evil on a plane.
