Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston are reuniting for the upcoming Netflix comedy MURDER MYSTERY, and now the streaming giant has revealed the rest of the ensemble cast joining them for the fun, games and death (and perhaps a bit of blood). Joining Sandler and Aniston are Luke Evans (BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, THE HOBBIT), Gemma Arterton (PRINCE OF PERSIA, QUANTUM OF SOLACE), Luis Gerardo Mendez, Shioli Kutsuna (DEADPOOL 2), David Walliams (LITTLE BRITAIN), Adeel Akhtar (THE BIG SICK), John Kani (CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR), Ólafur Darri Ólafsson (THE MEG), Dany Boon, and Terence Stamp (SUPERMAN II).
Directed by Kyle Newacheck (GAME OVER, MAN!, WORKAHOLICS) and written by James Vanderbilt (ZODIAC, THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN), production on the movie has begun in Montreal and will shoot in locations around Europe. When a NYC cop (Adam Sandler) finally takes his wife (Jennifer Aniston) on a long promised European trip, a chance meeting on the flight with a mysterious man (Luke Evans) gets them invited to an intimate family gathering on the Super Yacht of elderly billionaire Malcolm Quince. When Quince is murdered, they become the prime suspects in a modern-day whodunit.
MURDER MYSTERY is set for 2019.
