CALL MY BY YOUR NAME director Luca Guadagnino is making the leap to television for the first time ever with We Are Who We Are, a new coming-of-age story which will debut on HBO in September. The series stars Jack Dylan Grazer and Jordan Kristine Seamon as two American teenagers who live on an American military base with their parents in Italy, and will explore typical teenage drama themes such as friendship, love, and overall confusion.
In addition to Jack Dylan Grazer and Jordan Kristine Seamon, We Are Who We Are also stars Chloë Sevigny, Kid Cudi, Alice Braga, Spender Moore II, Faith Alabi, Francesca Scorsese, Ben Taylor, Corey Knight, Tom Mercier, and Sebastiano Pigazzi. Luca Guadagnino served as showrunner, director, and executive producer on the series, and penned the episodes alongside Paolo Giordano and Francesca Manieri. Guadagnino has several projects on his upcoming slate, including the long-in-development SCARFACE remake as well as a sequel to CALL ME BY YOUR NAME, although the director refers to it as "a second chapter, a new chapter, a part two or something like that. I love those characters. I love those actors. The legacy of the movie and its reception made me feel I should continue walking the path with everybody. I’ve come up with a story and hopefully we will be able to put it on the page soon."
