In the years since the release of LOVE ACTUALLY, some fans have been wondering what became of these characters, their relationships and how they viewed love. Although we may not be getting the full-sized sequel we wanted, director Richard Curtis reunited much of the LOVE ACTUALLY cast, including Hugh Grant, Martine McCutcheon, Keira Knightley, Colin Firth, Liam Neeson, Bill Nighy, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Andrew Lincoln, Lucia Moniz, Olivia Olson, Marcus Brigstocke, Laura Linney and Rowan Atkinson, for a small reunion as part of Red Nose Day. After debuting in March on BBC One, the LOVE ACTUALLY sequel will return for Red Nose Day in the U.S. in just two weeks, so why not check out a new trailer for the mini-sequel!
Richard Curtis told Entertainment Weekly that "it’s been delightful to revisit the characters from Love Actually and see the cast, but it’s even more special because it’s all to raise money for Red Nose Day." EW also debuted a poster for the upcoming mini-sequel, which recreates the original but swaps out the snow for Red Noses, and, as Curtis jokes, "with everyone looking only a tiny bit older — apart from Hugh Grant of course."
RED NOSE DAY ACTUALLY will air during NBC's Red Nose Day on May 25th.
