Earlier this week we were rocked with the exciting news that Neill Blomkamp would be at the helm of a new film set in the ALIEN universe, and I feel there's no better person to bring the franchise back to the big screen. After seeing his incredible concept art I was completely sold on seeing this project come to fruition and I'm stoked that it's going to happen. We're certain we'll be seeing Sigourney Weaver return for the next ALIEN film, as she all but confirmed it on a recent appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, but she also shared that one of the biggest names in comedy wants in on the fun.
Sigourney Weaver mentions that she talked with Louis C.K. about the development of this project and he said that he'd love to have a part in the movie where he dies horribly. Weaver told him that his request could probably be arranged, so maybe we'll see Louis C.K. die a horrible death from a Xenomorph in Blomkamp's film.
It wouldn't be the first time a comedian played a role in an ALIEN film. Remember Paul Reiser as Carter Burke in James Cameron's ALIENS? Here's hoping Blomkamp and Weaver can make it happen for Louis C.K. Check out the video below (the ALIEN talk begins at 1:10).
