Last year Lou Ferrigno said we should expect a solo Hulk movie after AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON, and in a new interview with a local radio station in Minnesota, the actor again said Marvel is planning on a new Hulk flick.
Ferrigno starts by talking about how Mark Ruffalo's Hulk was the "star of the movie" in THE AVENGERS who "saved the day," before saying, "Now because he saved the day they're making another solo Hulk movie after the second Avengers comes out."
We are probably going to get a new Hulk film eventually, but the question is when? Will the next movie be part of Marvel's Phase Three films, or will we have to wait until Phase Four? And does Lou Ferrigno know something we don't, or is he just assuming Marvel will be developing another Hulk movie to be released after AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON?
One of the big reasons why we are talking about a potential new Hulk movie is because of Mark Ruffalo's take on the character (who we just recently learned is working with Andy Serkis to perfect the Hulk) in THE AVENGERS, and since Bruce Banner and Hulk will apparently get to do great stuff in AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON, I wouldn't be surprised if HULK 2 ends up being one of Marvel's Phase Three films.
AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON will open on May 1st, 2015.
