last blessed with some tidbits of info on GRIZZLY PARK, the horror film
about a killer bear and a serial killer competing for death toll numbers amongst
a group of teens. Being so long without news I had started to wonder whether or
not this thing would ever grace a screen. Well my prayers have been answered
because fellow scribe E-Rock (Eric) has come across this nice piece of
GRIZZLY PARK footage.
As seen below, courtesy of both
YouTube and
CHUD.com writer Nick Nunziata (producer of
GRIZZLY PARK), we can peep the first in a series of behind the scenes shorts
about this wicked sounding movie.
For those still a little foggy on
what GP is all about, here’s the scoop fresh off the press:
As part of a new
rehabilitation program, eight troubled young adults are sent to serve a week of
community service in a remote California state forest range called Grizzly Park.
Under the supervision of the stalwart Ranger Bob ), the troubled group is given
an opportunity to seek redemption on their journey through the forest. While
Ranger Bob seeks to provide both literal and spiritual guidance to the
youngsters, an escaped serial killer with an insatiable bloodlust has also found
his way into the park with every intention of disposing of anyone in his path.
But he is not the only lethal hunter in these woods.
The film really does sound like an
incredibly fun watch. I mean come on, a serial killer AND a killer bear! What
more could you possibly ask for? So check out the clip below and if you like
what you see, head over to the official GRIZZLY PARK MySpace page
