The Season 2 finale for Marvel Studios‘ Loki series debuts this evening, and Ke Huy Quan has a special message he’d like to share with fans. The Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Everything Everywhere All At Once actor plays Ouroboros (OB) in the new season of Marvel’s hit show, which finds Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Mobius (Owen Wilson), and others struggling to keep rogue agents of the TVA (Time Variants Authority) from destroying whole timelines across the spectrum.
In Quan’s enthusiastic message, the cheerful actor expresses his gratitude for becoming a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a valued member of the Loki family. “I loved making this show. I’m so proud of it,” Quan says in the short video with sincerity. “It was such a joy to play OB,” Quan continued. “It makes me so happy to know you all love him as much as I do.” Before the video ends, Quan reminds the audience that he’s wearing green. He then smiles brightly for the camera while giving a double thumbs up. It’s the most adorable thing I’ve seen today.
Loki Season 2 was off to a rocky start with Marvel fans. However, the fifth episode in the six-episode series got MCU fans discussing possibilities for the brand’s future. According to online chatter, the revelations in episode five are so significant that it’s overall changing people’s perspective on season two. Many say they’ve rewatched the current season from the beginning to appreciate episode five even more.
Marvel Studios is regaining steam after several underwhelming releases, including Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Secret Invasion. Despite a smattering of mediocre reviews, The Marvels is getting some positive word of mouth from critics and fans. The film has a 62% Fresh Critic Score on Rotten Tomatoes, with many saying the superhero spectacle packs plenty of punch, humor, and surprises.
