I have a couple of brand, spanking new posters for you this morning for THOR: THE DARK WORLD (also known as THOR: THE DARK KINGDOM in other countries) and SNOWPIERCER. One character poster featuring Tom Hiddleston was already released, however, there's no such thing as too much Loki, right? But what the hell is up with the actors' faces in the posters for THOR: THE DARK WORLD? Something just seems a little off with Hiddleston's and Natalie Portman definitely looks like a confused fish in her poster.
Next up is SNOWPIECER, the American debut from director Bong Joon-ho (MOTHER, THE HOST). The film stars Chris Evans, Song Kang-ho, Jamie Bell, John Hurt, Octavia Spencer, Tilda Swinton and Ed Harris, and it follows the survivors of a modern day ice age as they travel the planet in a giant train. I've waited a long time to see SNOWPIERCER, but the recent news about the film being cut for American audiences really pisses me off. I'll still see the film if it does have a shorter running time, however I will not be happy about it, and I'm sure Bong Joon-ho isn't too pleased about the situation either.
SNOWPIERCER still doesn't have a domestic release date, but THOR: THE DARK WORLD will be in theaters November 8th, 2013.
