Cinedigm Corp will be bringing the Blumhouse and Hyde Park horror-thriller PREY to theatres and VOD on September 27th, and nine days out from the release we are proud to present an EXCLUSIVE clip from the film that shows the lead character making a troubling discovery.

Directed by Franck Khalfoun (P2, the MANIAC remake, AMITYVILLE: THE AWAKENING) from a screenplay he wrote with David Coggeshall, PREY stars Logan Miller of ESCAPE ROOM and SCOUTS GUIDE TO THE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE, along with Kristine Froseth of APOSTLE and The Society.

The synopsis:

Toby Burns (Miller), a millennial coldly floating through life and disconnected from his family. After his father is tragically killed in a carjacking, Toby is left stricken with guilt. He is begrudgingly enrolled in a “Lost and Found” program, in which he will spend three days and three nights on a remote jungle island. Toby soon finds that this “uninhabited” island is not so lonely when he meets a mysterious girl named Madeleine (Froseth). It soon becomes clear that neither of them are safe here and time is running out. Someone or SOMETHING bloodthirsty lurks in the jungle, and Toby must find a way off this island before becoming its PREY…

Miller and Froseth are joined in the cast by Jolene Anderson, Jerrica Lai, Phodisdo Dintwe, Anthony Jensen, and Jody Mortara.

PREY was produced by Ashok Amritraj, Jason Blum, Chris Lofing, and Travis Cluff. Couper Samuelson, Jeanette Volturno, Alix Taylor, and Priya Amritraj serve as executive producers.

Check out the clip below, which is followed by the film's trailer, and look for PREY at select theatres and on VOD next week.
