Lo trailer

So writer/director Travis Betz has a new film on the way and it’s pretty… interesting to say the least. Before I get into the film though, let me tell you all who Mr. Betz is. His only other writer/directing credit is the spooky-little-kid flick JOSHUA, and apparently it wasn’t half bad.

Now the movie I’m talking about today is simply LO. What… or who is Lo? Well Lo happens to be a demon conjured up in order to help some poor bastard save his girlfriend from a bunch of other demons, only Lo has a different agenda… Everything is sounding pretty good so far right? So go ahead and check out the trailer we just threw up in our videos section..

Now your asking yourself WTF is going on, right? This demon is jamming out to jazz music… How does that happen? Needless to say the trailer is definately intriguing at best. Quiet Earth reminds us that Betz had the following to say on the project:

“The thought of restraining a single actor to a lone circle drawn on the floor, where he is taunted by demons and the memory of his love was a very tempting challenge!”

Yeah, that seems twisted enough to possibly be an interesting idea. I guess we’ll find out soon. Here’s LO’s synopsis: “Love presents many challenges to couples… but none so daunting as the one Justin faces with his girlfriend April. Kidnapped by demons, April’s mystery begins to unfold when he finds an ancient book that she has left behind. Using the book, he contacts the demon Lo, ordering it to help him rescue his girl from the fiery pits. But Lo has other plans for his new master… dinner being one of them.”
