The nominations for the 74th Golden Globe awards (or as I like to call them, the Everyman’s Oscars) have just been announced, and there are a lot folks and films that were expected to show out (MOONLIGHT, MANCHESTER BY THE SEA, LA LA LAND) that done and brought it, some that failed to make an impact despite many's hopes and dreams (ARRIVAL in most categories; Nothing for Martin Scorsese's SILENCE; THE NICE GUYS shut out in the Comedy category), and some pleasant surprises (DEADPOOL! Farrell for THE LOBSTER). Overrall it's a pretty good list. Everyone and everything can't be nominated, but in both the TV and movie categories I fail to see anyone undeserving. But really, f@cking nothing for NICE GUYS?!
