2020 Universal Pictures Preview

With five films crossing the $100 million mark domestically, 2019 was a solid year for Universal. Of those films, four were sequels with a couple (GLASS and HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON: THE HIDDEN WORLD) ending their respective franchises. The studio's best performer was Jordan Peele's US which brought in almost $200 million. For 2020, Universal looks to aim higher with several more high profile sequels including the latest James Bond film, FAST AND FURIOUS 9, MINIONS 2, and the sequel to 2018's HALLOWEEN. Along with several other big films and a pair of projects from Amblin, this new year looks bright for the studio.

Check out the full slate of films coming in 2020 from Universal Pictures.
