In 2018, Paramount saw an increase in profits of $200 million to bring them a 6.2% market share. With $704.9 million in domestic box office, Paramount rode on the success of MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – FALLOUT and the surprise hit A QUIET PLACE. The new year looks to be a lucrative one for the classic studio including the remakes WHAT MEN WANT and PET SEMATARY along with a new TERMINATOR film and the SONIC THE HEDGEHOG live action/animation hybrid. 2019 could be a big year for Paramount.
