In what could be their penultimate year before being acquired by Walt Disney, 20th Century Fox grossed $1.326 billion at the domestic box office thanks to hit films like LOGAN and THE BOSS BABY. Fox only had one film cross the $200 million mark this year and the underperformance of ALIEN: COVENANT hurt the studio’s bottom line. This year, they hope to turn things around with DEADPOOL 2, DARK PHOENIX, THE PREDATOR, and ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL.
