Despite mediocre reviews, Warner Bros. rode the box office millions from BATMAN V SUPERMAN and SUICIDE SQUAD to $1.9 billion at the domestic box office and a #2 ranking out of all studios. With seven films crossing the $100 million mark, WB has no shortage of franchises under their control. In 2017, the studio looks to expand their success with two more DCEU films, the long awaited sequel to BLADE RUNNER, and a pair of entries into the burgeoning LEGO film universe. Lets see if the legendary studio can ride King Kong and King Arthur to more box office records.

JUSTICE LEAGUE (November 17th)

As a man heads into space to prevent climate-controlling satellites from creating a storm of epic proportions, his brother discovers a plot to assassinate the president.

BLADE RUNNER 2049 (October 6th)
Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K, unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard, a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.

THE LEGO NINJAGO MOVIE (September 22nd)
Six young ninjas are tasked with defending their island home of Ninjago. By night, they’re gifted warriors using their skill and awesome fleet of vehicles to fight villains and monsters. By day, they’re ordinary teens struggling against their greatest enemy….high school.

IT (September 8th)
When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids is faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.

ANNABELLE 2 (August 11th)
The story is focused on a dollmaker and his wife, whose daughter tragically died twenty years earlier, as they decide to open their home to a nun and several girls from an orphanage that has been closed. The dollmaker’s possessed creation Annabelle sets her sights on the children and turns their shelter into a storm of horror.

DUNKIRK (July 21st)
Allied soldiers from Britain, Belgium, Canada, and France are surrounded by the German Army on the beaches on Dunkirk and evacuated in Operation Dynamo between 26 May and 4 June 1940, during the early stages of the Second World War.
Starring Aneurin Barnard, Kenneth Branagh, James D’Arcy, Tom Glynn-Carney, Tom Hardy, Barry Keoghan, Jack Lowden, Cillian Murphy, Mark Rylance and Harry Styles. Written and directed by Christopher Nolan.
THE HOUSE (June 30th)
Scott and his wife Kate team up with their neighbors to start an illegal casino in his basement to earn money, after they destroy their daughter’s college fund.

WONDER WOMAN (June 2nd)
In the early 20th century, the Amazon princess Diana, who is living on the island of Themyscira, meets American military pilot Steve Trevor when he is washed ashore. After learning from him about the ongoing events of World War I, she leaves her home to bring an early end to the war.

A teenager who’s lived a sheltered life because she’s allergic to everything, falls for the boy who moves in next door.

KING ARTHUR: LEGEND OF THE SWORD (May 12th)
The young Arthur runs the back passages of Londinium with his crew, not knowing his royal lineage until he draws the sword Excalibur from the stone. Instantly confronted by the sword’s influence, Arthur is forced to decide where to become involved with his power. Throwing in with the Resistance and an enigmatic young woman named Guinevere, he must learn to master the sword, face down his demons and unite the people to defeat the tyrant Vortigern — who murdered his parents and stole his crown — and became king.
