Lily Collins Rules Don't Apply

Zac Efron stirred up some rumors yesterday when he tweeted out a picture of himself with Jamie Lee Curtis, the caption saying he was "On Michael Myers patrol." Apparently Efron isn't actually in the new HALLOWEEN film, but he is in another movie we're keeping an eye on here at Arrow in the Head – the Ted Bundy biopic EXTREMELY WICKED, SHOCKINGLY EVIL AND VILE.

Lily Collins has just signed on to co-star with Efron in the Bundy film, which Joe Berlinger will be directing from a screenplay by Michael Werwie that won the Nicholl Fellowship first prize and was featured on the Black List.

Efron will be playing Bundy himself, the serial killer who is believed to have murdered more than 30 people. Collins will be playing his girlfriend, Elizabeth Kloepfer. The story will be told from

the point of view of Elizabeth Kloepfer during the multi-year period that Bundy hid his murder spree from his live-in lover.

Kloepfer had some serious suspicions about her boyfriend, even reporting him to the police at times, but still stayed with him. It will be interesting to see this story brought to the screen.

EXTREMELY WICKED, SHOCKINGLY EVIL AND VILE is being produced by Ara Keshishian, Nicolas Chartier, Michael Costigan, Michael Simkin, and Jason Barrett. Jonathan Deckter serves as executive producer. Voltage Picture is fully financing the project.

Filming is expected to begin on January 10th.
