I really hope that the poster department’s work ethic over at LET ME IN isn’t indicative of the effort being directed toward the film as a whole. Here’s what I think the thought process was behind the creation of this latest promo poster.
Marketing guy: Hey, so bad news. The movie’s now in New Mexico, not Colorado, so your other poster doesn’t work anymore.
Poster guy: What? Aw come on. That took a solid half an hour!
Marketing guy: Yeah, I know. But we need something new for the Twitter page. What can you do?
Poster guy: Give me ten minutes and one of the original LET THE RIGHT ONE IN posters.
Marketing guy: That’s the spirit!
